These fundamental aims will be achieved by procuring one suitable vaccine for the National Immunisation Program.\n\nAccording to the Communicable Diseases Act (1227/2016), the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare is obliged to supervise the implementation of the National Immunisation Program and other general vaccinations, and to monitor the implementation and impact of these vaccinations.
