Kort beskrivning av upphandlingen

The Team is to identify all relevant stakeholders to be orderly consulted about the Fund by the Team. The Departments of Forestry, Tourism and Environment as well as Government institutions such as Environmental Council of Zambia, Zambia Wildlife Authority, National Heritage Conservation Commission and the Zambia National Tourist Board representing the official environmental sector are to among those consulted during the process.

The consultant team is expected to assess the objective, purpose, financial and legal requirements, ownership and relevance of establishment of an environmental fund in Zambia. The Team is expected to assess the location and mode as well as financing structure and mechanisms of the Fund. Also, the identification of viable operational and management structure of the Fund is a crucial part of the assignment.

The Team will also propose and discuss with the stakeholders about the financing through the Fund. What type of interventions or CSOs may seek for the funding, how and on what conditions? In what form and on what conditions is the financing? The Team is to propose selection criteria for the Fund managers to select the interventions to be financed.
